A comprehensive full colour, 224-page guide with sixty-three illustrated dive sites and local maps each with an aerial photograph, this is well supported by over 500 photographs. These cover dive sites, marine life, wrecks, artificial reefs and shorelines of dive sites, 150 of these are aerial photographs. Many of these photographs have been donated by Maltese and visiting divers and the copyright strictly remains with the photographer. 

This book is fully up to date, at the time of going to press and includes the new wreck MV Hephaestus which was scuttled off Xatt L-Ahmar, Gozo on the 29th August 2022, as an artificial reef/diver attraction. There is a new section of 18 pages covering technical wreck dive sites, not how to dive them, but all the information you will need, with photographs which include 3D models of the wrecks, donated to this publication by Heritage Malta.

This highly illustrated guide is informative and makes an ideal coffee table book as much as it does a reference book or of course as a souvenir, as the aerial photographs give reminders of those dive sites you may have visited. This diving guide is supported and used by instructors of dive centres in Malta and Gozo, the Professional Diving Schools Association, Heritage Malta and the Maltese Tourism Authority. A guide written by a diver for divers, who wish to gain information on the dive sites around these islands, for the enjoyment of all who wish to dive these blue waters.
